Scope: EV charging infrastructure for a 6-acre retail park with 281 parking spaces
Overview
TriEnergi Power Solutions was appointed to deliver a turnkey EV charging hub at St Georges Retail Park, located just five miles south of Leeds city centre. The site, home to national retailers including Aldi, Costa, and B&M, had high footfall and a strategic location on the Middleton Ring Road (traffic count: 13,576 vehicles/day). The client’s goal was to futureproof the site, attract eco-conscious shoppers, and generate a new revenue stream through EV charging.
Scope of Works
Design & Planning
- 20 dual-socket 22kW AC chargers
- 2 x 60kW DC rapid chargers for fleet and taxi use
- ICP-led grid connection (1.5 MVA capacity secured)
- Civil works: ducting, trenching, bollards, signage
